Parking in the streets in Berlin City Centre
Paid parking applies in the Unter den Linden district / Friedrichstrasse / Gendarmenmarkt and Alaxanderplatz from Monday to Saturday from 09.00 till 22.00/24.00 o'clock, also on Sunday in some high-traffic areas. The parking fee is € 0,75 per 15 min (€ 3,00 per hour).
Parking in the neighborhood of Berlin City Centre
In the surrounding area of the city center, you should pay for parking on:
- Monday-Friday from 09.00 o'clock till 20.00 o'clock
- Saturday from 09.00 o'clock till 14.00 and 18.00 o'clock
- Parking is € 0.25-0,50 per 15 minutes.
Cheap Parking lots in Berlin
You can easily find unlimited and free parking outside of the district of Mitte-Tiergarten-Wedding. Cheap or free parking are also located close to all underground and S-Bahn stations at the suburbs of Berlin. If there are parking charges apply, so the approximate price will be around € 1.50 per day.
Parking lots in the downtown of Berlin
Berlin offers parking lots of large capacity in the downtown area. Parking fees in public lots are: € 1.00 – 4.00 per hour, daily maximum fee of € 10,00 to 35.00. More expensive are the hotel parking lots.
Do you want a cheap parking for more than a few days? The P + R parking areas located close to the tram stops of the S-Bahn or U-Bahn offer free of charge parking spaces or at least very cheap, but unguarded. If applicable, the parking fee per day is of € 0,50 to €1.50.
