1628Strasbourg is the capital of the Alsace region and its historical central part (the Grande Ile) is on the World Heritage List of UNESCO. The city is the residence of the Council of Europe and the European Parliament, that hold meets in Brussels as well.

Parking in the street of Strasbourg
Chargeable parking is available in the downtown area of Strasbourg:
- Monday-Saturday: 09.00-12.00 and 14.00-19.00 o'clock
- Red Zone (max 2 hours): € 1.90 per hour
- Orange zone (maximum 2 hours long): € 1.50 per hour
- Greene zone (max 3 hours long): € 0.50 per hour

Parking lots in Strasbourg
Unlimited parking is available in the parking lots in the downtown. Fees in public parking facilities: € 1.30-1.70 per hour, daily maximum fee is about € 22.00. There are also special fees for parking in the evening and overnight.

P+R-parking Strasbourg
You are able to park near the tram stations and use the public transport to get to downtown area. The daily parking and ride's entrance fee grants 7 passengers with a return ticket to be used on the tramway line. Parking fee plus free tram tickets are cost: € 3.50 (P+R Rotonde costs: € 4.00). 
The P+R car lots are open from Monday to Saturday: 7:00 am to 8:00 pm, exit is possible 24 hours a day (P+R Rotonde from 05.30 - 01.30am). Maximum allowed time to park is one day.
